As we all know, most Internet HYIPs last no longer then a few months. The few programs which last longer are the ones who have a plan for longevity, and stability. Approximately one out of every 13 programs last as long as 3-4 months, however only about 1 out of 250 Programs last 1 year or more.
Why such a huge dropoff? Well, partially to blame are the admins of these programs. After 3-4 months most administrators get tired of the work that goes into running a large scale HYIP. They may simply quit, taking a huge sum of money for their work, or they may stop caring, and start putting members funds into poor performing investments. Another reason for such a difference in the number of programs which last 3-4 months and the ones that last a year could be the fact that in order to last 1 year the program either has to have several backup plans, or be extremely lucky.
The number of problems that an admin can run into are astounding. Hacking of egold accounts, hacking of site scripts, spamming by jealous individuals and members, investment failures, etc. You name it, it's a potential problem. Admins often get sick and tired of all the hassle that goes into trying to avoid such problems. They often just give up, the honest ones, refunding members what they can, and the dis-honest admins running off with sometimes as much as a couple million dollars.
If you as an investor can learn to pick out the programs which will last 1 year (as said before, only 1 in about 250 programs), you will become extremely wealthy. The problem is, of course that the HYIP arena is more like a casino. Place your chips on the #, in this case the HYIP that you feel will come up a winner. Some tips that we can give you to help you in your HYIP selection strategy are the following:
- Do as much DD (Data Demand) as you can on the program. Try to find the admins address and a phone number. Call the admin and ask him about his previous HYIP experiences. Check the address given to make sure its an actual address.
- Use forums and rating boards such as http://www.Talkgold.com, http://www.Gold-hosting.com and http://www.Goldrater.com to see what others have to say about a program.
- If it looks too good to be true, then it usually is. Try to keep with programs offering less than: 1% per day, 8% per week, and 30% per month. If the payous are much higher then these #'s, then the program is a ponzi 99% of the time.
- Look for good communication by the admins. Phone #'s, email addresses, forums, etc in which you can communicate with the admin and get a response withing a few hours.
- Lastly, go with your gut feelings. If you think it seems suspicious, it probably is. You should always make the final choice.
