A real exellent post/thread I found on one big HYIP Forum, Talkgold.com regarded to well known populer HYIP Program called TroyBank.
Here is the post, I hope you can benefit from it. Thanks to Daze for sharing this info to us.

As company named Troybank [www.troybank.com] has done a lot of advertising lately and new members have flown in, I myself checked out the professional looking website. As soon as I saw the main page, I realized it was based on a scam.

At the moment, TB has listed several offices throughout the world(e.g Nigeria, Ivory Coast etc.) When I checked them out, the only office stated on their website, was located in Estonia, the country I live in. Even the address (Parnu mnt which stands for Parnu road) was given. Now, I can assure you with 100% of confidence that such company does not exist in Estonia, and therefore, looking TB from Ivory Coast would be an absurd endeavor as well. Of course, inquiries have been done to Estonian officials and they have confirmed that such company as "Troybank" or "Troy" or something similar doesn't exist.

The information above isn't actually anything new, as warnings have been posted in big forums such as Talkgold and Moneymakergroup . Strange, though, that the most common responses to those posts, are "I don't care, as long as they are paying, it's ok" or "this company has been paying long and it's reliable" It's also hard to tell whether these cheerleaders are protecting their money or are they really so blind.

The reason and point of this post is actually getting you to realize how easy it is to get people to fall for a scam scheme. You just need a decent start capital, a professional looking website and a daily paying system. These programs are just traps waiting to close, especially for vulnerable single mothers or unemployed folks. Again, HYIPS (High Yield Investment Programs) are very risky. I urge people to use their mind, knowledge and common sense when investing into these programs, not emotions that are often stronger.
